In this issue of the Annals of Surgical Oncology, the editors have initiated a new feature: publishing abstracts of multidisciplinary cancer management from the Journal of Clinical Oncology and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics. In addition, selected abstracts from the Annals of Surgical Oncology will be published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics. Through this process, the editorial board and the publishers of all three journals intend to increase access of abstracted material about multidisciplinary cancer care for the benefit of our combined 30,000 readers.
The abstracts published at the end of each issue are selected by the editors based on content of interest to surgical oncologists. If you have any suggestions or comments about this editorial collaboration among these three journals, we would like to hear from you. If the response from our readers is satisfactory after a 6-month trial period, we will continue this collaborative project.
